top manager. he's turned everton from being relegation candidates every year into a decent top half side. kudos
just about spot on

Correct. He has done that. But he is still BaconFace MarkII, and his proggy notes for the away visit showed his true colours in the area reserved for welcoming away fans and officials of MCFC. Showed a petty and small-minded side to his character. Poor show, Moyes. And yer still haven't replied to my letter. And that's ignorant, too!

Re: David Moyes (merged)

Moyes will go to Old Trafford when bacon face retires.

Re: David Moyes (merged)

Course they arent close. I dont know why everyone seems to think that Moyes will go to Old Trafford or to any top team. Since Moyes has been at everton there have been numerous top jobs come up, tottenham, chelsea etc yet he has never been mentioned for any of these? Why?

Is it because his loyalty is to everton? Like hell it is, loyalty means squat in football and if he had been offered a top job he would take it like a shot. The fact is he isnt now or never will be good enough to take a club far, he may over achieve and consistently get top 6 on a shoestring budget but the facts are that all he will ever do and if a top club was happy with that then they wouldnt be a top club, do you genuinely think the rags, chelsea, arsenal, tottenham etc would be happy with that each season.

Also his little escapade last season has all but precluded him from taking any of the top jobs, do you really think the chairman of the top clubs would put up with him saying its all about me, its only because kenwright knows that everton is overachieving with him at the helm that he puts up with his crap, no top team would do it, also he showed that he cant manage top name players with the lescott fiasco, basically he let his pride have an adverse affect on the team over a single player a top manager wouldnt do that!

Re: David Moyes (merged)

Moyes won't get a job at a top four club until he's won something. He's still too big a risk.

You could argue that the job he's done at Everton with the resources he's had available to him is the equivalent of a cup win at a big side.

But-like Hughes-the counter argument is that he's never managed "big" players and had the weight of expectation of success on his shoulders. It's always been "good old Dave's doing it on a shoestring again."

It's doubtful whether getting Everton to the cup final would register too highly on the "successometer" to the likes of Drogba or Arshavin.

He's built a top half club on little money.
not too exciting is it?

He's had a lot more money to spend than he would like people to believe.

Yakubu, Johnson, Fellaini all £10m + signings, plenty in the £4-8m bracket as well.

F*ck Off Gollum!

Just been listening to the sport on Key 103 and that ugly mess Moyes has been spouting off again at how unfairly the blue dippers were treated in the whole Lescott transfer, and how it's Lescott's fault that they had a piss poor start to the season.

I fail to see how recieving a transfer fee of £25m for a player who was valued at around £15m is being trated unfairly!

This guy is a tool of the highest order, and I for one hope we smash fuck out of the theiving, rat eating, scruffy scouse twats tonight!!!!!!!
