Kompany excepted we could play the same 11 that won convincingly away at Everton earlier this season.

Not enjoying the idea of Deulofeu running at our FBs.

I know a trip to Wembley is in the balance but I'd prioritize the PL. I'd be happy to see a few EDS lads given a chance to show they belong and wouldn't hold the manager responsible if we lost. I don't expect any of that to happen, but what better time to experiment with a CB or FB than this?

Take it you my friend don't fancy a trip to Wembley...

Neither, but I think I've been clear on why. I'd be fine with playing a weaker side in FA cup instead. Just think something will have to give at some point as we have a ton of fixtures in play. But I won't belabor the point, I think we have enough quality to manage a 2 legged tie against Everton whether we blood a youth or not. I hope we win and believe me I respect the way Everton is playing right now, this is going to be a real test either way.

The way Everton are playing now? 15th in the form table with 1 win in 6

Strongest available side.
Let's not miss out on the opportunity of another trophy, or give the media more excuses to belittle us and pile pressure on the team.

And the same again for the Norwich game. Fight for every trophy, no regrets.

Anything can happen in the league, it's a tough old haul & I've always believed we should go taters deep for the league cup, win that & it takes the pressure off the team then roll on to the next target. We need to win a trophy every year .
