We played De Bruyne and Silva against Hull at home in the quarters, why would we rest them in the semi's against a much better side away?

Exactly, Wembley COC Final trip up for grabs here.
Of course. We have played strong teams in every tie because the manager is judged on trophies. But psychologically this game is huge too. We badly need a winning run, and booking a Wembley trip would lift us all.

They were poor first half today as Spurs pressurised them. They ran out of gas second half and Everton came back into it. Need to watch the counter attack and we need to have some creativity to break them down. If we take the game to them they are beatable. Depends on the desire of the players.

Hart
Zab
Otamendi
Mangala
Clichy
Delph
Fernandinho
Yaya
De bruyne
Silva
Aguero

Sterling , navas later on in the game hopefully to add pace against tiring defenders. Just don't get beat city!!!! Lukaku could have a field day against mangala to be honest

Yeah, it's a big game for us this. As you say, winning the tie would give everyone a much needed lift.

Everton will be well up for it and will come flying out of the blocks. I hope we play with a degree of caution rather than just going toe to toe with them. A draw would be a decent result with the home leg still to come.

I'd play a three man midfield of Toure, Fernandinho and either Delph or Fernando, and look to hit them on the counter. I'd be tempted to leave Silva out and go for quicker players - any two from Sterling, Navas and De Bruyne supporting Aguero.

After all his injury problems and how knackard he looked yesterday I still can't see Aguero starting.

Think we'll play Bony up top and I really hope Fernando and in particular Delph are fit to play.

play nice and solid, nothing too rash, and we should happily come away with a draw. do em at ours. wembley here we come.
