Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

I was hoping EFC would go out after a replay. Now that Everton game is going to be twice as tough

Well; even if there was a replay, it wouldn't have had any effect on the game next weekend as the replay is usually 10 days (at least) after the original game making it the midweek after the trip to Goodison.

Take a look at our web-site and the Internet. Replays are this week

I stand corrected. However,I'll be amazed if that turns out to actually happen. Weren't they shifted back some years ago on police advice?

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

Everton always seem to be missing a few players when we play them but as said it doesn't matter who they have playing, Tony Hibbert centre back and we can't score. Losing this would be no shock but just want to see us try something different to the style we usually play against them that they had figured out a few seasons ago.

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

It'll just be our luck they get back to form when they play us. Today I couldn't believe how poor they were.

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

That Fellaine got a bit of a rough ride today , just watch him redeem himself next week !

Was thinking that myself and I bet Neville will not misplace one single pass against us.

Time we gave them a taste of their own medicine. Get in their faces from the first whistle. High tempo needed for this one.

Absolutley, it could be a real hostile environment. Moyes always seems to be motivated for this fixture. He hates us with a passion. We need to win this one or its going to be 14 or 15 points behind the rags.

Time to do these bastards again

I take it you're thinking back to when Robinho and Elano were doing their thing !!

the 1-2 win, not the game when he was substituted after coming on as sub:)

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

I'm glad we can't play them at Wembley, but the worst possible outcome for the League game

Aye , that backpass of Nevilles was a corker , wasn't it !

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

Was it any surprise today? Sacrificing a quarter final for their most important cup final. None of their players ever play crap against us at Goodison, it's the ultimate act of game-raising.

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

Don't worry we will win next Saturday. They are in disarray. Fellini moving on not interested any more.Same with Moyes.

Howard definitely out, and Jags very doubtful with a gashed ankle

Furthermore there could be FA Cup replays midweek

Beat Everton and our slim title chances will get just a little bit more realistic
united have to lose four games, cant see that happening, and i cant see us winning all our games either

It's a long shot, but if Utd don't win today, and we beat Everton it will be on.

After Reading at home next weekend, their fixtures are tough

Re: Everton maybe without Howard and Jagielka next weekend

Mancini and his coaching team need to get hold of a DVD of Everton v Wigan yesterday and start studying Wigans approach and performance and start learning how to apply it to City next week.
