Man up you bunch of fannies.

Everton are 15 points behind us.

They've failed to win 7 of their 14 home games.

They've only won 2 of their last 7 games.

They're nothing to be worried about. Turn up and play with tempo and we'll fucking leather them.
This.

Trouble is we've rarely turned up at Everton and played with any real 'tempo' ..... no matter where THEY'VE been in the league !

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

About time we put in a decent performance at Goodison.

Expect this Saturday to be the day.

It's not as though we have a totally abysmal record at Everton , like we have at Arsenal ..... all in all we've managed to win about a third of the games that we've played at Goodison ..... but for some reason we just allow ourselves to be 'sucked in' by the atmosphere there , and the home side usually put in a shift that's a step above their usual home 'shifts' ....... hard to fathom it out , but we rarely perform to our full capabilities there.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

This game got a shit load harder now they got battered 3-0 off Wigan. They will want to make a point. Plus goodison park is not the easiest places to go to.

A win is a must for us.

Yawn...a draw would be a useful pioint in our quest for the runners-up spot. Much more important than the result is that we pick up no more injuries, as we will need our strongest eleven for the semi-final.

Re: Everton Vs City Pre Match Discussion Thread

There is a familiar bubble of optimism inside me that is starting to expect us to not just win, but win with style. This is usually crushed by losing away to Leicester or the like. But for now, I am going to allow my mind to conjure images of Milner and Zabaleta running amok through their clumsy back line, and feeding Dzeko with ball after ball to bury in the back of the net... Until the entire away support is joined in a stirring Bosnian tribute anthem.

If Everton aren't allowed to kick lumps out of us, I think we are catching them at the perfect time. All assuming Komoany is back.
