He's a different position to Lescott though. It's like saying that because we signed Barry, SWP is now set to be sold. In my opinion, Everton going for Naughton is just them trying to strengthen their small squad, and nothing more than that. I can't see it being linked to Lescott's situation at all.

He's a left back who has a big future at centre back. That sounds exactly like a replacement for Lescott to me.

Thought he was a right back ?

Typical rag knowing nothing about the blues.

Dr.Rag with good naming!

Don't make me come down there !

Naughton is a right back... but he also plays left back!

In the play-off final he played left back.

Hughesy's sort of player!

I didn't realise he was Welsh and had played for Blackburn Rovers.

Well, you learn something new all the time...

He's also currently injured and expected to be out of action for 7 years. Surprisingly, nobody at Everton has picked up on this yet.

Naughton is a right back, we have needed a propper right back for years, long before Lescott was linked with you lot, different players, different positions. This more likely spells the end for Jacobsen then it does for Lescott.
