Everton (FA Cup) Post Match Thread

that was just bloody phenomenal. Effortlessly dealt with everything they tried and most of our creativity on the left was thanks to his link up play.

I said it a few games ago, he’s Busquets at left back. Immense today.
His passing and vision tonight with little, perfectly weighted 15/20 yard passes was excellent.

He is probably making the club reassess any need to sign a new left back. What he gives us in possession and composure most left backs can’t offer.

Everton were a disgrace and got exactly what they deserved. 26 years without a trophy and they turn up like that?

Fern just continues to be immense and Gundo has shamed me into not knowing fuck all about football, aside from the fact he has changed position ;)

Love this man.

Foden, tight as a drum, Iniesta-like confidence.

Anyway, the wife has made a chicken and spinach curry and I have a nice bottle of Shiraz to top it off, so spicy is the name of the game tonight.

C'mon City!!!
Fern needs a new contract. Never mind aguero, we will miss fern far more. He was brilliant tonight and exactly what we needed in that kind of game.
As for a spicy night time, it ain’t your birthday for a few months yet.

Gundog is a great interviewee isn’t he? Quietly spoken, articulate and intelligent.

Aren’t we the luckiest fans in the world? We have the greatest players, the greatest Manager, the greatest owners, the greatest staff from top to bottom and the very greatest fans.

Not that I want to go OTT but hey it’s all true. :-)

Forgot it’s Wembley because of bloomin Covid times. I would have normally booked the hotel on free cancellation after the first goal went in. Oh well better times ahead.

Job done City
I don’t mind Everton as a club but I cannot stand this group of players they have
Niggly fouls all game and they roll around crying like babies if anyone touches them
(In Richarlison’s case even when no one touches him)
