Apparently its not fair because we have built a very strong squad and because Pep rotates the players we are still fresh. Unfair to the rest of the league.

Oh and we had that 3 week Xmas break.

It's not fair simply because we are so damned good. That's the bottom line.

Is it complaining or stating a fact as in we have a long way to go? You have spent more money than us and bought quality for the money. We have wasted a chunk but are slowly starting to improve (James, Allan, Doucoure and Godfrey for £60m) But also you have evolved over 10 years or so to the point where you are now sustainable. We need to spend more this summer to improve our team again but its a huge gulf

Every team needs to spend money to move forward and improve, the more you have the more you are able to spend. There will always be one or two that say that crap but ask them would they swap it so we were in that position they will say yes. Ignore them

This is very true and is almost word for word what I and a lot of City fans might have written in 2008 and also when UEFA were bringing in FFP. I am proud that our manager says loud and clear that the club spends big on players and that this is the key to success. It vindicates everything our owners have done to build up our club. Everton are not as rich as we were in 2008 and you are hamstrung by FFP in a way we weren't but you have begun on your long journey. You've got an excellent manager and you have bought some very good players. Hopefully you'll continue to do so and I for one look forward to the day when you have replaced your odious neighbours as Merseyside's leading team.

Massive two months coming up after this needless international break. What a run it's been so far this season, hopefully it gets better for the final two months of the season.

A FA Cup semi final, Carabao Cup final, CL quarter finals & wrapping up the League to come. The way Pep has raised the bar in England is something else.

Why when we have won 22 out of 23 and have the most clean sheets? You can't have it both ways. If the opposition score this place goes into meltdown, so i prefer the way we play now. Remember if the opposition can't score you can never lose

We are grinding teams down. I think that's a seriously good result against an improving Everton side who were set up purely to stop us playing. 2 good goals and solid again at the back.
