Yes, the page is turning on some stellar careers and we'll rebuild. But we have the first proper run of bad form for over eight years and the blue moaners are out in force. We have some twitchy bottler fans - each blue moaner claims to have the answers. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but the blue moaners going into meltdown don't have the answers - JUST MY OPINION - before the blue moaners come back at me. One bad run of form with a fully fit squad in eight years is incredible - let alone our squad and the injuries. No finishing positions decided in December. JUST MY OPINION - fans need to get behind our team after what they've given us for over eight years and stop the blue moaning.
 
I bet these managers we faced last 10 games cannot believe how easy we made it for them. slow build up is what they ask of us. so much easier to defend it than attacking with pace. also despite how slow it is we still give away the ball a lot, and we react badly when pressed. they take the ball off of Bernardo, Gundo, Foden a lot so they dont often want to receive it. which results a lot of nonsense passing just watch how many times Grealish passes it back to Gvardiol or as for this game Savinho to Lewis. probably the type of pass we do the most. we give it the winger and the middle areas are cramped, winger does not want to make a move so passes back to fb. fb aint creative enough to make things happen so passes to CB or Kovacic. rinse and repeat. opposite managers love it. our least creative players spending most of the time on the ball when we have the ball. while our most dangerous player Haaland has games with 6 touches and all that...

I think most fans are fully behind the team, and Pep for that matter (I for sure am), the fall off the edge of the cliff in terms of form and our results on the pitch is unprecedented in recent times though. The last time City won only one of their last eight games was during the 2005/2006 season under Stuart Pearce. Time to get a couple of players in so we can win some games, and then really start the rebuild in the summer.

this slow build up is making if ineffective the most. also the rotation we provide to him is zero meaning he is playing 3x90 minutes on most weeks. he already has more minutes in him than some of our injury prone players will have all season. and right now fighting a battle with ghosts as he will not be played in by our slow team behind him.

feed him like in his debut season and play at a speed like that also get him some rotation if not for full games than bring him off at around 65 or 70 sometimes. oh you cant do that because you sold the only other striker who keeps him on his toes a bit and offers some rotational opportunity. well done.

Yes it’s a shit run and in no small part to Rodri’s injury and the rapid decline of KDB,Kyle and Ilkay amongst others.
We have a patched up squad struggling with energy and confidence.
Imho we are witnessing this due to some malaise and lack of succession planning in the transfer market.
We’ve 13 weeks of shit not 13 years.

It took about 5 or 6 games for people on here to turn on Pep, the players and the club.
 
The way we set up; attack, high line, in the past, you always feel we'll concede opportunities on the counter - product of dominating, but worth the risk. We'll score goals.

But now, the attacking play, it blunt, hopeless and fucking ruinous.

Nothing we do is working. We cannot defend. We cannot attack. The midfield creates little, while offering little to help the defence.

The issue is that I think most people realise he is the best there is, and that we would be stupid sack him because there isn't a manager in the world I'd trust more to rebuild us to where we want to be than him.

But while it is going on with the cards he has been dealt now, it is painful to watch. And when we see the same problems every single game, with very little tangible changes from the man himself, it feels a little bit like we are throwing away game after game at the moment.

Pep will win again with different players. But enough different players seems far away right now. Most people want us to get points on the board while putting up a proper fight to get us back into the CL company we have fought so hard to establish ourselves in
