You don’t understand how, despite us winning, some are concerned with a particular player? What’s the point in a forum if we’re not to debate performances?

Pep thinks he’s good enough, so do I just about. Pep will probably think (can’t know for sure) replacing Fernandinho in the next 12-18 months is most important.

How do you know how good Pep thinks Walker is? How far his admiration stretches?

All we really know is he thinks he’s good enough to start for us.

I suspect he rates him to some degree. I do too.

I just think on the standards of the squad his lack of technical ability and brain farts make him the worst starter, alongside Mendy/Delph.

Great result in a notoriously tricky fixture.
Don't care about the perfomance tbh.
So many first choice players missing.
Froze my nuts off in 114 but bring on palace.
I will settle for crap performance and three points.
Some of the moaners on here are just unbelievable.

That’s the thing, buzzing but just know we have about four more gears to go through. Not a critiscism just an observation.

He’s just about good enough for us and his pace allows for that. Of course he’s not just pace but his technical ability is poor compared to the rest of the squad. How many assists does he get? Why do we concede so much from his side? We went out of the FA Cup last year due to his technical ability.

This isn’t church, I don’t have to praise the entire squad every time we win. It’s a post match thread about discussing the game and the team.

The team is great and we’re lucky enough to be living in the greatest times of Manchester City but we can still critique the odd player or performance.

Whether that is true or not you cannot hide the fact he fucked up the pass back when he needn’t have attempted to do the pass back.
