Everton (H) Post Match Thread

I thought he was very poor today, and I have no idea what Rio said, and care even less, I can see with my own eyes that he is off his game at the moment.

I don’t think he is 100 percent fit

And to think I can remember when Dave didn`t play we couldn`t unlock packed defences.
3 points, Aguero and Co rested, and from 3-1 it was a stroll. We can`t expect champagne football every week, esprcially with a busy festive period approaching. I thought we managed the game brilliantly today.
And as for the "Walker bashers" you really have taken it in like a toilet what Rio spouted. With constant injuries to Danilo he`s being overplayed. The same can be said for Bernado.
Onwards and upwards, roll on tuesday.

I’ve been thinking this for a while and don’t take my opinions from Rio fucking Ferdinand thank you very much.

Nothing to do with Rio.
His defending has been poor for months now.
In fact he is starting to show the same defensive frailties he had at Spurs a lot more this season than last.

Yes Walker is making mistakes. In fact all the players are making mistakes at times, they`re all human. But if it`s Laporte or Stones they`re excused. If it`s either of the Silvas it`s ignored. It appears that the boo boys have a new target. For me he has been overplayed due to Danilo`s constant injuries. He along with Bernado are always the first names on the teamsheet, and Bernado is also looking a little jaded. We tried giving Walker a break by playing Stones and look how that went. The sooner Danilo is back to help the better.

It appears that the boo boys have a new target.
Does this apply to Jesus, Gundogan, Otamendi, Delph, Zinchenko ?

Perhaps people are just commenting on their performances in reality, and its got f**k all to do with boo boys.

Could well be right, I'm just commenting on what I observe, I don't know what the reason is, but certainly playing too many games isn't helping his cause.

Gutted I missed the match today but a great win which will add the pressure to loserpool now tomorrow. Think a few people are going to eat humble today Jesus got his 2 goals and played well I’m happy for the lad I’d start him against Leicester.

There looked to be a little chit chat across the field between Delph and Walker in
the 2nd half with Fred having to step in with a get on with it, move on giddy up. It
was only a little later Delph got involved in an aggressive set to in the corner area.

Reading a few reports on the game and unfortunately clicked on the Liverpool Echo’s one. Didn’t get any further than the first line, which was this humdinger:

‘The richest club in the land don't need to be given anything for free.’

FFS.

Oh here we go, the first super fan.

He’s just about good enough for us and his pace allows for that. Of course he’s not just pace but his technical ability is poor compared to the rest of the squad. How many assists does he get? Why do we concede so much from his side? We went out of the FA Cup last year due to his technical ability.

This isn’t church, I don’t have to praise the entire squad every time we win. It’s a post match thread about discussing the game and the team.

The team is great and we’re lucky enough to be living in the greatest times of Manchester City but we can still critique the odd player or performance.

Maybe RAWK is for you.

Wtf. Super fan ??? I think walkers a really good right back. And don’t agree with your opinion. Is pep a super fan ??? Because he clearly thinks he’s class aswell.

I never said anywhere I you have to praise the entire squad ....... just don’t understand the negativity and criticism when we win. Walker has literally proven he’s one of the best right backs in the league

Go to Rawk haha. I may aswell call you a rag
