Honestly, when the ball is on the ground and he's under any pressure at all he's no better than Joe Hart. He can hit that low drive out of his hands pretty accurately, but beyond that his distribution isn't even average, finding touch more often than a teammate

I wouldn't even rate that low drive too much tbf, there's no arc on it so he needs a completely clear lane to the recipient, nowhere near as dangerous as Eddie's arcing low balls to feet from the ground, they're near impossible to intercept.

Agreed, it's a skill he has that a lot of keepers don't, but he's not especially good at it. He can only hit it if the winger is in just miles of space and even then it's 50/50 at best

The clowns were slagging stones and Maguire off at the world cup when Pickford kept booting it back to Croatia too. He's shite.

Glad we got the 3 points but they had some real chances towards the end what could have made it a nervy finish.

Bernardo looked gassed that second half. He’s usually the hardest working player in the team but he struggled to maintain Lookman when he came on and left Walker on his own against him and Digne. They doubled up on him a few times and that’s where the 2 bad misses game from.

Chuffed to see De Bruyne back. Think he was trying to play a few Hollywood passes like last year but they just didn’t come off today. Still very rusty but it’s great to have him back as an option.

Jesus was good today. He needed that performance after the way he’s been playing recently and the few sitters he’s missed. Takes a lot of pressure off Kun if he can push on from today.

Overall a good performance and puts some pressure on the dippers for tomorrow.

Result was the important thing but we were way below par. Sloppy touches, poor passes and poor decision making. We looked tired either physically or mentally. Not good for mid December. Thankfully we have players coming back and it’s great to see kev back.

In the freezing rain and wind, after a Champs league game 2 days ago and without 3 of our most important players I think the players deserve a lot of credit.

Jesus had his best game this season for us, However we were very sloppy at times. Some poor defending offered Everton quite a few chances. We haven't been at our best of recent, whether that down to fatigue or the amount of injuries we have. Got a busy few weeks coming up, need De Bryne back fully fit,Aguero and Stones too. Not by any means a great performance but 3 points!

i thought everton was very good today and have a good team and good players but city only needed to do minimum effort to beat them, did not really had to up the game and with players missing or on the bench this city squad is more than good enough to beat most teams in 2nd gear or playing squad players in rotation

when we have all the cards in our hands we are going to be very hard to beat our best 11 is the best in europe never mind in england, and then you look to the bench and see like for like and anybody can come off the bench and make a difference and not just a holding job but they improve the team and we go again and again

Thought there were some tasty tackles going in on our players that weren't penalised by the referee. Probably due to frustration but still could have resulted in injuries .

I thought Pawson let them get away with too much.

For balance, I was impressed with Walker' s attacking play today. His runs and outside the boot cross led to Jesus's 2nd.

Ha ha - I like the positive spin on Walker's lack of a left foot! :-)

Not at our best , job done , two nice goals for Jesus , KDB back in the fold , Aguero on the bench and back to the top of the league , not a bad day and to think i could have been xmas shopping :)
