Everton (H) | Post Match Thread

Failed to create enough chances. Games like this highlight our lack of pace and quality on the wings. Teams can defend narrow and close spaces quickly in the middle, knowing that we have great difficulty with one-on-one situations in wide areas. Well done to Frank for figuring it out.

It was obvious from the start of the second half that we were going to find it difficult to score. That give away from Rodri was criminal and ultimately cost us the game. Substitutions came far too late, and didn’t really change anything. Frustrating game, and there’ll certainly be more to come.

Fuck me there are some fannies support my team. "the league's gone" fucking grow a pair. Long way to go, we'll peak when it matters, march/april is when the league/champs league/+cups will be won and that's when we'll be in peak form

Thought the turning point was the YC tackle by Haaland. It gave Everton a 'cause' whereas up to then they were just being feisty. Over did it there big fella.

Have to stop this grealish and mahrez nightmare. One or other, never both.

And some were predicting 5-6 nil win. This is Everton we’re talking about. Really poor performance from us and a superb point for Everton, brilliant defending. It’s Arsenals to lose now, a team playing with a freedom and flair.
