Everton were hardly mind blowing against Stoke, they won but didn't play that well from what I've read/seen. A new striker with Lukaku's boots to fill, he'll probably need a bit of time to adjust to the Premier League. I think they'll be fairly solid and tough to break down so a decent 2-0 win is what I predict here.

I watched the full game on match choice, Everton were far from convincing although it is early days, But have in said that I don't take Everton's form into account coming into the game against us, For some reason they love playing us the last few years and tend to get a result. I think it will be a tough game but we should be winning this one.

We should be winning this and getting back to creating a long unbeaten run at home. I would like to see us move the ball alot quicker when we win the ball back if the opposition lose it in attack. Time to set an early marker at our first home game

building a solid and tidy squad are everton. siggurdson always seems to score against us as well doesn't he? we need to fly at them from the start in our first home game of the new season and really put a marker down? we also seem more comfortable when we get an early goal and we tend to score 3 or more when scoring early.

think we might see a more adventurous everton for once which will hopefully play into our hands
I am expecting almost all our games to be attack v defence. I don't think Everton's back 4 is that strong, but they do have good defensive players in midfield in Gueye and Schneiderlin. They look weaker than last season because of the sale of Lukaku. That goal he scored against us last season was amazing. One of the best scored at the Etihad last season.

I have no idea which of these we'll go for:

-------------------Ederson
--------Kompany Stones Otamendi
Walker--------Fernandinho--------Danilo
----------De Bruyne------Silva-------------
------Jesus--------------------Aguero------

OR

------------------Ederson-------------------
Walker---Kompany---Stones------Danilo
-------Fernandinho-------Silva------------
Sterling---------De Bruyne-----------Sané
--------------------Aguero

Think Mendy could make the bench and Gundogan definitely will. Assuming we don't sign any more midfielders I think Foden will still get a good opportunity this season due to inevitable injuries and rotation.

I'm not sure about this 3 at the back, obviously I won't care if we win, but just doesn't seem to be comfortable for any of the players.

don't get me wrong i still think we'll boss the possession but i feel everton have an air about them where they will try and take us on which to my mind will be suicidal

Here we go, the first real test. everton are on a high after getting rooney, Barklay staying, etc. They will be difficult to beat even at home and that is where we struggled last year with these sorts of teams.

So, bit of an acid test for me. Brighton showed some of the frustrations we had from last year might still be there, Everton game we need to win and not be shaky.

Finger crossed we are moving onwards and upwards but we will see after Everton I feel. And then same again with the Liverpool match, we need to win those

I'm saying City win by the odd goal. For some strange reason, I have a feeling the Granny Shagger will get sent of for a vicious 2-footed lunge on Kompany. I certainly don't think there will be any love lost between them.

Am disappointed to hear us having to advertise tickets for our first home game of the season.the rags I work with are finding it amusing that we are on local raidio having to sell ourselves.
C.T.I.D

Now they've got Sigerdson, I expect it to be a lot more tougher. I rate him,but I'm hoping he won't be at the pace with his new team mates yet. This will be no walk in the park, it never is with these scouse fuckers, Just get the 3 points, anything else i.e scintillating football and worldie goals will be a bonus.
