Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

If the Everton fans in our end perk up like Gladbach did, City best have the personnel to deal with it this time. I can imagine it getting nasty in places otherwise. I want them thrown out not given a makeshift away end and forcing CIty fans to move. Thankfully, it shouldn't be anywhere near me in the south stand this time.

Can see there being a shitstorm tomorrow. As stupid as it sounds, it's gona take a big incident to happen for our club to change their stance regarding the sale of tickets to away fans.

I can honestly see there being around 15 to 20,000 Everton in and around the ground tomorrow, especially with the carrot on the stick of a Liverpool final.

On Facebook there was a City fan wanting to go to her first game. She seemed genuine enough but got refused because of her St Helens address.
looks like you need previous purchase history to get a ticket.

Can't see anywhere near that amount tbh, I'm expecting 1-2k in our end tops but it only takes one or two and i agree it could kick off and get ugly. We're not the best of friends as it is, add to that the fact one will team will be missing out on a final and then add on top of that the ill feeling still lingering after the Gladbach debacle and it means any Everton fans making themselves heard in the home end is going to be on the receiving end of something a lot worse than abuse if the stewards/police are not on guard and quick to respond. City know full well where there's likely to be a hefty amount of Everton fans, they need to ensure it's properly policed and get them out of the ground as soon as they make themselves heard.

I just don't underestimate Everton's fanbase as it is huge club. Half an hour's drive up the road to collect a ticket from a tout or online with no question. I hope I'm wrong.

All depends on resources doesn't it, I've seen it go horribly wrong outside the Etihad even with ample Police presence. Whatever the result, I hope the away fans are kept in the ground for a bit afterwards.

Just don't think there will be that many willing to risk it in the home end, especially when there's a potential final against their rivals if they go through.

I think keeping them in the ground will depend on 2 things, obviously the first being who wins. If we win fans actually might stay until the end and beyond to celebrate which would allow the Everton fans to disappear, but if they win they'll likely want to hang around anyway, the other thing is trains back. I was at the away leg and there was 1 train home that night, would of been a struggle to get it if we had been kept in for any length of time. plus there's the chance of extra time to consider.

You've just reminded me of the last team that had the second and third tiers and the absolute mess it caused outside the ground before kick off.

I think we're getting hysterical.

As fans, we're going to get dog's abuse for not selling out for a semi final. Already been accused of not having the history of Rags, Liverpool, Everton or Chelsea on Talkshite - we're live on there tonight, so Collymore will have a field day. I think the Mirror have some headline about it as well.......ooohhhhhhh, we're fucked!

No problem if they stay quite and respect their surroundings but if they start getting rowdy and starting their own little away ends around the ground, its a disgrace if the club don't drag them out

I've 3 tickets for tonight.
However, I work in London.
Cheapest train ticket to Manchester after 3pm tonight is £166
Last train back to London is 9.15pm, therefore £100 needed for a hotel.
Cheapest train ticket back to London to arrive before 11am is £140.
So, £400 for me to get to tonight's game. Crazy price considering I flew with my family (4 of us) to Turin for the Juventus game for £185 for all of us.
Unfortunately, Virgin's prices mean I'll be watching on TV
