Looks like it was Everton fans buying those tickets in 325.

If this is true then City simply need to enforce proof of address on e-tickets and they won't get in. That is stipulated on the tickets.

I was chating on here last night about the tickets being sold to away fans and my consernes as ill have two kids with me,
I was reasured that the club was omly selling to those with purchase history so in most part genuin city fans..

After seeing a few everton forums this morning with hundreds boasting of having e tickets i thought id see what was what and if it was possable.

Iv created a new online account, randome address from a street down the road, a old unused email address and shure as chips im there with 6 tickets in my basket just waiting to be paid for...

Fucking joke of a ticket office , those thinking city fans are taking this game up in megga numbers over the last few days are wrong , the club are cashimg in without the thought of the safty or enjoyment of there fans .

If it's that easy then it is indeed a joke. I do think, however, that the rush over the past couple of days does include a lot of City fans as there is often a late surge in ticket sales for cup games and with this being a semi final I don't think there is any reason to think that it's any different this time but in amongst those it would appear that a fair number of Everton fans will have bought them during this late rush.

The only way this is gonna be avoided is if Everton don't score and we score a few

Yes and getting 25% off for the trip to Birmingham on Saturday.
However you don't get 25% off peak time fares

The terms are on the tickets already. I bought some using my season card for a couple of American colleagues who came over to Manchester. It says clearly you need proof of ID. It wasn't enforced because it was crystal palace but no reason why they can't as it's stated on the ticket.

Is that for all virgin trains or just football trains? Costs me 26 quid every day to get to work on a virgin train and that would save me a fortune.

If city use their brains they can check names given vs addresses for those bought in 325 if they don't tally tickets gets cancelled.
