Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

Hmmm... The initial story on the Mirror website last night was by a David McDonnell. His story, and any reference to attendances tonight have mysteriously gone missing from the Mirror website.

It seems City have got their fingers out and addressed it. Shame it's probably been read by 2 or 3 million people by now.

I addressed Big Al Brazil myself.

Brilliant contribution as always Dr James.

I'd also say that the people mostly criticising are those like Ogden and his ilk, who get paid to attend games, and those "fans" of other clubs who rarely, if ever, go to games. Real fans, the ones who know about the issues of juggling finances to afford tickets, taking time off work (if they can) and fighting their way through rush-hour traffic, tend to understand the issues that other fans face.
Absolutely. Maybe instead of City banning journalists they should do a Ryanair and charge them for certain facilities - you get a basic seat at the press box for free (that way you can do the job that the great Don Davies and co did in decades gone by); if you want a monitor for instant replays that's £20; a internet connection £20; a padded seat £20; a briefing sheet £10; match programme £3; all you can eat hot meal before the game £20; drink (non-alcholic) £1.80; drink (alcoholic £3 minimum); half time sandwich & drink £10; car parking space £10; VIP meeting with one of the players £100 etc. It might make them think!

You can always like it on my facebook where I originally posted it Cheers

Was there really only 46,000 at The Swamp for the semi final in 2010 Gary? The one where Scholes scored in the last minute? I was at that game and it seemed pretty full to me.

Cheers mate. By bizarre coincidence I'm a season ticket holder in 328 too! Row F. I was relocated to the East but relocated myself to the back of the family stand because I'm taking my lads, and they've been begging to go on the lower tier since they started going. Maybe I'm understimating how many are selling at the stadium right now. I wonder how many a fully staffed ticket office can shift in 5 hours?

It doesn't seem many of them are employed getting Villa tickets out to branches where they have to be further passed to members. It is worse for Villa because of the replay but the ticket office performance is worse than in previous years - and it wasn't good then!

That is a great post by Gary James. I'd have just called Ogden a twat for the shit he's written in the so-called match 'preview'.

Ogden is a piece of shit, an agenda driven charlatan after click bait just like many in his profession.
