Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

Was around 6 everton fans were me and my bro was sitting in colin bell level 3 when they scored they was shouting there heads off and saying city are shit so me and my bro confronted them and before you know it we had the backing off 50plus fans. Mcfc ok!!!!!! And then 2 security guards came across and eventully got them out everton arseholes whos laughing now.

8,000 Everton is being generous as well. Their allocation was 7,200 although I think they got some corporate seats as well.
How does that work? Isn't the capacity of SS3 7,000? That's how much the overall ground capacity increased when it was opened, and they had another couple of thousand in SS2. I'd estimate SS2 and SS3 must be around 9,000 even allowing for segregation.

Sheffield Wednesday were on a whole different planet to Everton. Wednesday fans last season were immense and there were only 5700 of them, 7200 Evertonians were no comparison to Weds.
Especially considering as they were ahead in the tie almost all night. Really quiet in what they were billing as a huge game for them

They've never won that trophy and haven't won owt for 21 years, 1-3 up in a semi-final, yet they were just quiet with the odd chant all game.

Their official allocation as quoted in their twitter feed was 7,200 and something. I think the top tier of the 3rd tier holds marginally under 6,000. It does sound slightly on the low side but SSL3 & 2 together but it was the official figure. They probably get more from corporate seats. maybe those are in that end. There's a central block 215 I think that count as corporate when City are at home and we have that section. Perhaps its 7,200 plus one or two blocks. Someone will probably explain

Hope you all got home safe mate :-)

Only kidding, thought it was a great turnout by Everton. They've got a really good away support, and like Villa I don't have any malaise towards Everton as we are similar clubs with similar fan bases.

As I thought, it was dozens rather than thousands of Toffees in the City end. There was a fella with his 3 lads sat in front of us, not a peep all night, even when you scored and got off 5 minutes before the end. No problem with that personally, if I had kids who'd probably never been to a semi final before I'd probably take them in the opposing end if that's all I could get. But I'd be telling them to behave as these lads did, with a bit of respect for the home crowd.

There were one or two who jumped up celebrating and giving it the big un and most got thrown out, a couple probably got a slap on the way out. I personally don't want to see that at football in 2016 when there's kids about, but I guess they knew the risks. If I was in the Goodison end and I jumped up when we scored, I'd expect people to be having a go too, it's par for the course.

I think it's an unwritten rule, if you're going to sit in the wrong end, have a bit of respect for the opposition fans and sit on your hands if you score. The vast majority of Everton fans did that, so fair play to them.

Best of luck for the rest of the season, tonight aside, going off the other two games you should be miles higher up the league. I think you've got 3 or 4 players who would walk in to our side, so you've got bags of potential to improve.

good turnout, but terrible at making any noise. for 8,000 fans i barely heard them
