He is doing at every game this season for charityMost disturbing thing about the crowd was the Everton supporter wearing pants (or speedos), a scarf and beanie. And nothing else. It was bloody cold all wrapped up.
The capacity increased by about 7,000 but this included 3 rows of additional seats pitchside on all 4 sides (where possible, not near the dugouts for example) and extensions to level 3 ends near the South Stand. That, plus increased segregation, would have limited the stand. In total Everton had officially 7,200 but probably had a few dozen others (if that) around the ground. How does that work? Isn't the capacity of SS3 7,000? That's how much the overall ground capacity increased when it was opened, and they had another couple of thousand in SS2. I'd estimate SS2 and SS3 must be around 9,000 even allowing for segregation.
Fair play to him then. The weirdo. He is doing at every game this season for charity
Where were the thousands of Everton fans supposedly in our end. A few dotted around here and there and 30/40 in the CB2 posh seats but that was about it.
Great turnout and atmosphere last night and I love the bitterness of the Everton fans I know who've been posting pictures on Facebook this morning of empty seats even though none of them bothered to go to either leg.
I've read 50,048 somewhere on here. Might have got the numbers back to front but it was just over 50,000.What was the attendance last night in the end? They usually give a crowd figure on the BBC site, but there isn't one for this game.
Not too shabby at all!Probably worth posting the updated facts about our cup attendances this season so that lurking opposition fans can see the reality:-
