Everton (home) Semi Final Tickets

Probably get an email about it at 7.40pm on Wednesday, you must know how organised the club are when it comes to things like this.

I made this exact same joke to the lad i go to the games with this afternoon via text...i don't know if i should laugh or cry.

Don't think they can open CBL3 at such short notice. Won't they need to sort out extra stewarding, catering staff etc ?

52000 plus - said it from day 1

Fair play, you did indeed. There`s still a fair number of tickets to sell but at least East Stand Level 3 is back open for sale in a couple of blocks. Thankfully more Blues appear to have woken up to the fact that this is one step to Wembley on the road to becoming the first team in England to win the domestic treble. If the realistic prospect of that does not get the juices flowing then nothing ever will.

For me being a Blue was all about supporting City. Win or lose made no difference. Used to dream about Wembley when I was a kid. Now I feel spoilt. Will never forget those years when we won fook all. It made us what we are. Now I just love being a small part of history.

Liverpool have still got some tickets available for tomorrow and are selling right up to kick off and are also offering 20% off hospitality. Seems it's a general apathy with this competition.

I'm not sure why everyone is making such a big deal of this. We had only won one trophy when we played Liverpool and 30,000 bothered for that one. Less bothered for West Ham when we had won two and this one will have around 40,000 of our fans in attendance. Doesn't that suggest more people are interested than usual?

I'm going but I have to say the travel and all the shit around midweek Wednesday night matches certainly doesn't appeal. Hopefully the result will make it worth it. Everton are as average as can be but we always seem to make hard work of them.

Cos they were first leg games. That's why they didn't have great attendances, at the end of the first leg game unless you beat thrash someone you haven't got to Wembley yet, the reason why a couple of Everton mates didn't go to Goodison , but are going to the etihad on weds.
2Nd leg games always generate more interest cos it's like a final in itself to get to Wembley.
Unless if it's a derby against utd , which we sold out.

If we had played Liverpool or west ham at home in the 2nd legs, and the first legs had been close, you can bet your life they would have been better attendances, infact I think the Liverpool game would have sold out, maybe not west ham.

I bet it wouldn't because the pricing for Liverpool was too high. In fact it was ridiculously high, mainly due to Liverpool not being prepared to allow us reduce prices.

If there are 48000 there then I think that's good. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.
