Everton post-match thread

Is anyone actually enjoying watching us at the moment because I ain't. At the end of the month I have to go for root canal surgery at the dentist, I know I have to go, it's essential that I do go, however I don't want to and it's going to be very painful.

Sums up how I feel about City at the moment.

I wouldn't put it quite as strongly as you have, but no, it's not too good to watch. It's generally all a bit predictable and it looks like we're just too used to having things our own way. The moment we come across a team that fancies putting up a real fight, we struggle.

Yaya epitomises it above all others. Always up for a nice jolly stroll about on the pitch, but not quite up for a 90 minute battle. I can understand he's not built for a 90 minute battle these days, but Pellers need to stop relying on him as though he were. It's not all his fault though - we're simply a pretty predictable team who don't respond very well to being chased down all game.

What a bunch of pathetic, negative fuck-wits you lot are...

What has the club I love done to deserve such a bunch of wimpy, miserable, moaning gits as so called supporters?

Everton played well.

It was a great game of football.

It was played it a good, sporting manner.

It is only the end of the first half...

And, much to my utter delight, the hard working Navas scored (with his left foot).

City have no devine right to win every match they play.

Liverpool v City Final.

City win with Sterling scoring the winner in the 90th minute.

JJ.

+1
this is what i want to say every time i read these threads... so thank you for expressing my thought so well... cheers
every game we've played... the team we face play out of their skin to match up... i would love to see real stats on how teams do right after they play us or exhaust themselves against us... i know Stoke, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc. certainly did not do well... to name a few...
90 more minutes to go...

2-1 away is a decent result in a two legged tie, but it should have been 2-2 if the referee wasn't a bent twat. Every week we seem to be denied a stonewall penalty and it's getting ridiculous.

As for the game, first half was tough but pretty even. They had a couple of very offside "goals", but other than that were pretty quiet before the goal. Second half was a defensive trainwreck with Demichelis once again showing that he isn't fit to wear the shirt anymore unfortunately, while Otamendi went to shit as well throwing himself in and constantly missing out. Clichy looked well off the ace throughout, but luckily Sagna continues to be a rock. I'd rather throw Kean Bryan or even Humphries in at CB while Mangala is out because they can't be any worse than Demichelis.

Yaya was useless, as usual in high tempo games. Navas once again changed the game, finally scoring as well which should help no end. Aguero did well on the goal, but is still clearly finding his fitness. We should have scored more in that second half, but we are in a great position to win this.

That was a total shambles .
City fans were brilliant tonight .
City team was pathetic !!!

All I saw before the game was man city fans saying Everton are crap and totally disrespectful comments

I would hope it teaches man city fans to become more humble

But sadly I highly doubt it, well done Everton totally deserved

God just go and wank over York Away will you.

I'm sorry

I need to be shouted down by the I <heart> pellegrini fan club.
I'm feeling disloyal and need putting in my place before I call him a **** or something equally unkind

I understand your frustrations but we're past the point of no return with the manager now. We can only get behind the team and hope that this season turns out ok. Having said that, roll on June.
