Never seen a more blatant penalty , he took both Navas's legs ref and linesman had perfect views from around 5 yards , even Mirallas couldnt believe he got away with it , the referee needs to explain that decision , that was not human error , that was a deliberate attempt to favour the underdogs , and it is happening on a weekly basis now.

For me very typical Kevin de Bruyne away performance, the point where he lost the ball on the half way line then just got up and strolled back while Kun sprinted past him to close down on the edge of our box summed up his game. Would have been happier with sterling, Silva and Navas behind Kun tonight.

This is not a one off loss. We play exactly like this every week. Create very little, get outfought and defensively we are dire.

That's my biggest concern. A 2-1 away defeat in the first leg of a cup tie isn't the end of the world, but we're in a malaise at the moment and there's no signs of getting out it. Our away form is abject at the moment.

If that was a one off then fair enough, but we have been fucking wank all season and a lot of last season aswell. Pellegrini needs to go. Look at our squad, it's ridiculously talented, and he is wasting it. We shouldn't settle for 2-1 away at Everton, we should be fucking dominating nearly every team we come up against! It's tragic how this group of players is performing and it starts and ends with the manager

The best squad I've ever seen at City and we play like shit.

No organisation and the defending as a team is non existent.

I of course am hoping for a win but I can't see us beating them in the 2nd leg as they'll outwork us again.
