Everton post-match thread

well I think even if we get to the final, we might get spanked by Pool again due to shitty tactics and lazy effort. Been the same in the cups since 2012.

Only played well once since August (Seville). The rest has been dross including a few heavy beatings and the same once paced, couldn't give a toss dross each week.

Only watched the highlights on C5,looked a good game, still the 2nd leg to come. Seemed the commentators were willing Everton on though & in the after match chat with Martinez, didn't even mention the "pen" ??

Have some of these players lost the hunger and desire and only play/put in a shift when they feel like it,seems like it going by some of the games this season,or is part of it down to knowing possibly that pep will be here in the summer and some of them won't...

  • Our performances have not been good for a while now, especially away from home, so before tonight i would have taken that result hoping we'll have enough at home, however we will win fuck all this season if things don't improve. Massive underachievement from the manager and the squad. Some people saying everybody's downed tools cos Peps imminent arrival, really!! So the best run club in the country has taken it's eye off the ball has it, I don't think so, think the manager and his style have been found out far too often these days. I'm not a Pellegrini basher but you can't teach an old dog new tricks. It would be great if we could get over the line this season with a pot or two but the way were playing I can't see it.

Annoying thing is we will all be up for the Norwich away game on Saturday but I'll bet you anything the performance will be basically be the same. We always play like we did tonight. We are becoming an average side. Good job we started the season well. Sep, October, November and December have been like a mid table side

We will all be up for the Norwich game ? Have you read this forum recently ? Their are reams and reams of pages of posters slagging everything form the manager players, owners , directors , tea lady , every f*cker at the club is getting it in the neck. We have been the most successful team in England over the past 5 seasons , and the negative posts on this forum must outnumber the positives by at least 10 to 1, quite unbelievable , we aint playing well fair enough , but lets have some perspective blues for f*cks sake.
All going to plan.
A game of two legs.
See you at the Green Man and 7/4 is a good price.
Adios.

not booking the train and hotel just yet , anyway most of the hotel rooms have gone , the dippers have booked them , andthey have filled the open top bus up with diesel :)

Started very well but that's never good news.
Very poor - though the frightening thing is if the Ref was fair we'd have had a pen as well and got away with a draw.

Really concerned with Aguero. He missed 2 sitters again tonight,
YaYa is finished and Silva needs to be in the centre.
Pellers is now in the same state as Hughes was. Totally dazed and confused. Needs to be sacked NOW.

Just going through the motions until MP leaves in the Summer.

He knows he's gone.

The players know he's gone.

The fans know he's gone.

Apathy, apathy all around and the club were willing to concede everything this season in order to get Pep in the Summer.

Fully expect a carbon copy of last year. Shit performances all year with the 6 game winning streak at the end to artificially boost our league position to 2nd. No trophies.

2 wasted years.

Whats happened to us, we used to score for fun. Now we look so toothless. No spark no nothing, quite worrying actually.
Happy for Navas scoring, we seam to play better with him in the side.
