Everton Post Match Thread

Our bench from an attacking perspective is much weaker than it was a couple of years ago - but still can't understand why Kelechi didn't get at least 15 minutes.

Pellers needs to go fucking nuts after the game about that decision. The cheating/disgusting officiating in our games needs some focus on as that has been two disgraceful calls against us now in a week.

Must be on the Everton payroll to not give that, only explanation.
and another

Martinez "Ive not seen a replay but on 1st viewing I thought Raheem was waiting for any type of contact"

Don't get why an opposition manager would flat out lie like that and make a player sound like a diver.

Makes no fucking difference to speak to truth now does it? Not like him accepting it was a nailed on pen is going to give us 3 points.

He needs to take a look at delay. Grab both legs and form the cannonball position then jump six feet in the air.

He was running forward, no way he falls backwards.

I didn't say he fell backwards but when a challenge comes from behind, you more ofen than not fall back and not onto your front, I'm not saying its a dive, it wasn't its just the refs view of things and Raheem's usual dives are similar, he's built a reputation for himself and its stung us unless there's an agenda as people say.

I thought we played quite well, just didn't take our chances. We looked much tighter defensively, should have clearly had a penalty and with the other results, have lost no ground on the top.
Let's see how we are at the end of January, no time to panic.

Wtf? I'd given up on the Arsenal result.

Still feel we've been fucked by the ref but that's bucked me up no end.

I used to like Martinez but really what a ******* weasel he is, a real suck up. "John was only trying to usher the ball out and he should have stayed on his feet" come on Roberto you played the game - at the pace Sterling was going and on a damp surface what do you want - for him to twist so violently he gets caught by Stones so much he does his cruciate? I only console myself with the belief that Everton are not half as good as they think they are. Oh and remind me how many saves Joe had to make! We really need Pep in the near future, as he may by reputation alone put the fear up some of these biased officials.
