Everton - Post match thread.

Can't see us ever winning the league under Guardiola to be honest.
We will drop too many points.
To him possession is clearly more important than creating clear cut chances. He really hasn't yet got it yet how good and well drilled defences are in the Premier League. The reality is that if you take an extra touch in this league the chance is gone - no matter who you play.
Also, when the opposition is disorganised you need to go for it and take the chance of losing possession.
And don't get me started on his tinkering against anyone half decent. Yesterday it was Sane tomorrow it will be somthing else.
Will he ever learn? On last night's evidence no.
1st half was pedestrian. 2nd half we really committed men forward. It was Everton who looked like the team with 10 men. We created chances and pulled the trigger. Perhaps the pressure of being a goal down affected our finishing and made us snatch at chances.

Danilo and B. Silva were very good. Properly manager this squad should do well this season . Guardiola must play Jesus up front

I've seen all I need to, but hey, I know someone who has been around long enough who can make that judgement for me;

Let's add a poor grasp of English to your sanctimonious attitude:

continuously
kənˈtɪnjʊəsli/
adverb
  1. without interruption or gaps.
    "these images loop continuously"
    • repeatedly without exceptions or reversals.
      "their performance has continuously improved"

We're missing a solid, central defensive midfielder who can boss the midfield.

We look so disjointed between the defence and attackers. At times Kompany and Otamendi were passed the halfway line and trying to thread through balls and then struggling to get back.

3 at the back won't work until we have a solid midfielder in front of them.
Too true. Ferno cannot play the pivot/link role required to make that formation work he was actually more effective last night when he was out wide.
Yaya can up to a point but the boss obviously thinks he lack the legs or else there has been another falling out behind the scenes. Kevin seemed to take up the position towards the end and done ok but that was in an emergency situation. Gundogen has also been mentioned as a possibility but in reality at this stage it looks like it was a mistake to hold onto Yaya instead of going into the market for a replacement early doors. Don't want to be too critical of the manager but I am very surprised that he has been unable to work out that Fernadinho cannot play this role effectively.

I have posted a lot of negative posts.

Feel free to PM me if you want to take this irrelevant debate further.

Would be nice if you had any counter to my other arguments, but understandable if you'd rather avoid that by pretending like anyone gives a shit about when someone signed up on Blue Moon.
