Sorry mate but Walker shouldn't have received more than one yellow. Didn't make contact with Baines and kept his elbow low just fighting for position on the drop kick. I'd be mad as fuck if I were him

I usually follow the match thread as I'm watching and I'm just getting sick of the ridiculous overreactions there. It's worse than the tabloid press. Nice to see people speaking sense in post match.

Could've been worse overall. Shame the ref really ruined things, the walker red cost us the 3 points

Walker needs to realise City get reffed a lot differently than Spurs unfortunately.

3-5-2 doesn't work and Danilo looked pretty dangerous when he got ahead of Sterling. We need to go back to what terrified teams last season. Two wingers running off a striker. We've even got full backs to get ahead of the wingers now.

I'm sorry but if people are putting the ref at the top of the list of reasons why we didn't win that I give up, we played so differently than the slow pointless football of last year did we? We have a few chances each game where we speed up and normally miss a chance and that is it.

Actually, good point in the half time review was that Komps should not have got sucked in to the ball also. Can't argue with that.

True. He does that a lot though. One flaw in his game. The biggest culprit was Sane. Sloppy and it cost us.

Everton work hard though and have a good defence.

Only caught the second half, but thought we looked fantastic. Danilo was great, Sterling was great aside from that shot he blazed over. Bernardo seems to have a habit of getting in the way of other players, but looked good other than that.

Sane looked average, but I don't know how much of that is to do with his position. For me, he's a front three player, not a wing back.

having said all that i thought we were pretty average.....but still shouldnt be losing points to them.....

we also look so.more solid with kompany central ...at the monent i wouldnt play stones if the whole back line was fit...

left back is going to still be a problem area when mendy isnt on the pitch.....we need another like him to rotate with.

its just not clicking going forward at the moment....bernado looks a great purchase already...he has fight in him...something sane and kdb need to learn from
