I'm too optimistic for this one. Don't like that feeling.

youve won nowt yet, and you'll have one hell of a game at goodison. your overconfident on here youve l earned nowt from this season?? it will bite u on the bum like it did us...
Haha!
The irony of it.
Seem to remember your boys being a tad confident till yesterday.
Talk about calling the pot black and all that.
Confidence is something most of us have had very little of over the last 40 yrs....
It must be pretty miserable having to rely on your Evertonian buddies to bail you out of this one!!

Everyone getting ahead of themselves again. This is Everton away - a place we've really struggled at in recent years with a manager who knows how to set up his teams to beat us. This is going to be a so tough. Everton will produce a reaction to their recent defeats and we better be ready for them. We'll need to be right at it from the word go.

I'm predicting a week where all the Liverpool pundits and journos come out with comments designed to put the pressure well and truly on us by trying to highlight how disappointing it would be if Everton didnt give it their all on Saturday.

I imagine this will be started by Carragher tonight once he has finished slating Mourinho and Chelsea.

As we've seen, this crap makes fuck all difference. Mourinho stated he would play a weakened team. Liverpool knew that. It would have been a big boost to them. Mourinho duly obliged - and he still won comfortably.

Agreed for me Barry has been the difference for them and without him provided we turn up, provided we don't make stupid mistakes, provided we want the 3 points I can actually for once, without the hatred Moyes used to instill in the players, we might just suceed.

Haha who is this baby? Signs up the day after Chelsea slapped their bums to tell us we're overconfident? After they've been welcoming the team bus, crowning their team of champions, writing poems and talking about fate, destiny, god etc for weeks!

And best of all he comes on with trophy counts in his screen name as if that makes him better than us. The level of butthurt this guy/girl is showing is immense.

I can't see overconfidence on here all I can see is delight at having the chance of winning the title back in our own hands. There's a huge difference between the way both sets of supporters have acted these last couple of months.
and so say all of us,not one person associated with mcfc ,takes anything for granted ,any Liverpool fans who think we are over confident or arrogant, understands nothing of the mindset of city fans ,its only Liverpool, utd, and arsenal, fans
who seem to have no understanding,of our mentality, funny that,.
I suppose that's what sitting in ivory towers for decades does for you ,lets hope we never ,end up with our heads up our arses

Yep. Their captain wept tears of joy with a full five games to go. Thousands of them have taken to chasing down the team bus before every home game, singing we're going to win the league and setting off flares. We didn't do this for the last few games of 2011/2012 until the thing was won.

I bet they've been mithering the Pope to persuade him that their foregone conclusion of a title win be accorded formal miracle status. Also, some of them will have been to Lourdes no doubt to give praise and thanks to the Black Madonna for making them champions with 3 games to spare.

Clearly, it was their manifest, chicken counting destiny to win the league on the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough. I wonder if Juventus will win their own league whenever the 25th anniversary of Heysel is.

They may still win it, of course, but fewer and fewer people will be able to stomach that.
