Hey lads. Do we all expect kolarov to be benched Vs Everton and start Vs Villa?

What is your obsession with AK?

Tbh I just worry when Clichy starts? Would have AK starting every match one of my faveourite players! resigned to the fact that its one game each for him and Clichy though with Kolarov starting most home matches.

Imo: Everton - AK
Villa - Clichy (Villa have more pace atm)
West Ham - AK

They both have their pro's and con's

AK is better when we need to break a team down as he can get forward and put crosses in the box

Clichy is probably better when we need to be a bit more solid defensively, and especially against teams that have a lot of pace

But tbh id go with AK most weeks because I think he is actually catching up with Clichy defensively, and for me AK's pro's outweigh his con's

Martinez was not a happy bunny in his conference earlier this morning.

The first question was about his programme notes welcoming today's winners, Manchester City.

It's clear this guy is not in on the script one little bit.
Really, where can I get a full transcript? Only got snippets off BBC Sportsday.

You won't get to see that particular quip, sadly!

There are always a couple of different conferences, in terms of open TV and written.

The ever intensifying I am bricking it thread.

Lets show those Scouse essence-of-hyena-vomit chicken counters that they are deranged fornicators if they think we believe we are home and hosed. Lets show them that we have respect for our forthcoming opponents and we know we have won nothing yet and its going to be a difficult task (albeit achievable). Lets have a blow by blow thread to describe how we're feeling. It is Thursday. I am in need of solidarity, my fellow Blue Mooners. Record your ongoing thoughts here and give me coping strategies.

Everton players are not going to roll over, even if it means their hated rivals win the league.
We have to go there and impose ourselves from the first minute to the last and be all over them like a rash
do that and we might come away with the three points.
No three points no title, because Liverpool will batter Palace and Newcastle and finish on 86 points.

Exactly this.

We have to grab the initiative and early goals.

Only when we do that, will Everton suddenly decide it's not worth the bother.
