Everton Thread - 2021/22

Defeat to Arsenal on Monday and it will be very hard to defend him. Players are awful but we know that no club is going to get rid of most of its squad. The club has massive problems financially and it will come to a head very soon just how bad it is. A total mess and it's been coming for years, and we need a clear out of both the people running the club and the players.

I thought that Moshiri guy was loaded. Sure I read he was a multi billionaire when he came in. Was that BS?
 
They seem content to live in the shadow of their neighbours.

I'd imagine he was misled by Kenwright who stood to benefit most in selling his shares to others. I don't think someone who has the nous to make himself billions would look at everton and throw his money away.
We have spent half a billion nearly on utter shite. And half our squad are on nearly £200 k a week but their sell on value is next to nothing. None of them ask for a transfer as they are happy to pick up their wages and do fcuk all to earn them.
So what happens in January when DCL and Richarlison realise there are other clubs interested in them. They'll be off like a shot.

Nobody is content to live in anybody's shadow but as you say at the moment they're a top side who if you're not on it can batter anyone. We had it with our raggy neighbours now look at us, so you never know

I believe that Kenwright has been the problem for years. I met him once. You couldn't meet a nicer person or a more fanatical Evertonian. But he would not let go. I think he has been the "Peter Swales" of Everton FC.
I am not saying he has bad motives but he is too emotional and incompetent as a leader. The last thing you need is a supporter running a club. He has destroyed Everton really.

Rafa is a dinosaur football as moved on and left him behind. Good manager back in his day but not anymore. Same with Mourinho. I couldn't understand why Everton signed Rafa in the first place. CTID
 
I said last week after our match Everton was one of the worst sides we've played in a long time and predicted it would get nasty if Liverpool dick them as expected. A dicking like that isn't going to go down well. Be lucky if Rafa survives until Christmas.
