Everton have been referred to an independent commission by the Premier League over an alleged breach of its profitability and sustainability rules.
I know its connected to covid but if the Premier league get the charges to stick as they had agreed that it was within ffp guidelines at the time, it strengthens their stance when it comes to City.It is well known that Everton tried the Covid impact having excessive impact on their finances.
I am sure Everton wanted FFP and now it’s come to bite them.
They are no threat to the red teams, so don’t see this being anything but genuine financial misconduct
No but it helps the red shirts cling to some sort of power and relevance.Isnt it about time ffp was scrapped ? It cant be legal to stop a business owner investing in their business
