Your posts from years back re the Liverpool area indicate you are in the construction business. For that reason your post tonight re the financial problems has to be taken seriously...... SO
I'm going to ask, is the stadium build attracting a 'cough' scouse surcharge ?

No idea mate just know I won’t build or develop there again as it is rife with drugs and protection gangs and theft. On one job I was in we bought 240 kitchens for a 180 apartment scheme! Know that Ray O’Rourke was meeting Everton to say enough is enough on the payment front. They can’t get funding as real owners money has all been frozen. Genuinely touch and go if it gets finished.

BBC:
Everton have been referred to an independent commission by the Premier League over an alleged breach of its profitability and sustainability rules.
Well I suppose the Premier League had to charge at least one other club.

Otherwise it looks pretty obvious.

Interesting that they've chosen Everton who may or may not be in the Premier League next season.

Your post says enough.
Cheers for answering and let's leave it there.

I don’t think there’s a conspiracy in that regard. They were looking at Everton ages ago to be fair. At least as far as last season with regards to what I think they’ve now been referred to the independent panel for. And a lot further back than that - over 3 years ago - when Usmanov paid £30m for the naming rights to the new stadium. I don’t know where that particular investigation went as I can’t see anything online as to whether it was closed or whether it’s still ongoing.

Regardless of the issue surrounding Usmanov, I don’t think Everton are being accused of anything beyond a breach of the PL’s FFP rules. Even if the independent panel finds against them and a punishment handed down, I honestly feel a far bigger problem for Everton is the current state of their finances.

Fuck the premier league and the red shirts that run it. Stop voting for stupid rules and stop being jealous. If all clubs did the above and not what the teams in red want, all would have a better chance to thrive. I feel not one ounce of sympathy. Once FFP was brought in fans should have demanded it was implemented the way it was originally designed. It’s is a soft version of the super league by distorting competition.

It’s time the rest of the clubs woke up. Any of them would have been treated just like city. Fuck the red clubs and the dirty league that is doing their bidding. We should all demand a new ffp vote!

Stop yank owners loading clubs with debt.
Stop financial disparity. Basing spend on revenue was always only going to benefit the most powerful clubs.

Anyway, its probably too late. The greedy bloated red tops have succeeded. Who is next?
Liverpool want Everton in the EFL so they can market themselves as the one big team in the City. They failed in getting the name Liverpool trademarked as part of the strategy.

I wonder if Mr Parry is being a **** again on their behalf?

No they won't because the rags, dips, arsenal will all be stronger because of it. FFP has only damaged those trying to close the gap.

We shall see. My observation of life on general is that things change and those that rail and rant and fight against it rather than initiating it or embracing it will fall by the wayside. And I always remember Khaldoon's words "we will continue to disrupt"

Parry is a slippery twat so it would not surprise me if he is involved again. We all jest but who knows how far this shit goes. Corrupt wankers stealing our game using football tribalism as cover.

Everton have made the dreadful mistake of being ambitious. Perhaps they should have realised that no one is allowed to challenge the status quo. Clubs like United are apparently sustainable because they are allowed to run up debts of £600m without paying a penny back whiile they invest nothing in the local community. This the corrupt world of FFP.
