When you look at how smartly clubs like Brighton and Brentford run their recruitment and scouting, then it is truly baffling how a big outfit like Everton with bigger budgets and better resources have got their signings so wrong so often. So many parallels with City in our darkest
Thinking the same a struggling club in the same City as a bunch of arrogant Khoonts

if Vinnie want to make a name in the game at management then he should avoid this club like the plague ............until they have the right infrastructure in place then you wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole ............ it’s fine thinking your gonna be the ONE to turn it around but how many years we talking now ????? They have won one major honour over the last 35 years been involved in countless relegation battles ...........this won’t change until the set up is right or relegation actually happens

He'd have to be mad. It's a poisoned chalice of a job. What did I hear last night from Shearer, who was working on their game; 8 managers in 9 years, not including caretakers? Watford would be proud of that turnaround in managers. And I'm not sure Vinny would be ready for a job at a big club just yet. Vinny should be patient, a big job will come his way.
Yeah getting Burnley promoted while totally transforming their culture would be a much bigger achievement on his CV
But while Dyche would doubtless keep them up, within 12months they’d be complaining about the style again like Allardyce.
IMO they need to be brave, need rid of Kenwright who is just a camp Peter Swales and need someone to impose their standards and culture on the club
Potter would have been ideal before they appointed Lampard

For a Yorkie, that's a bloody good post.

;-)

I think that's the problem, short term we need someone to stave off relegation. But long term the fans would never accept that type of manager. Lampard was a reasonable risk in that he's young and needed to stamp his mark on the game somehow. But you don't get the time to do that with Everton, maybe we're all to blame but 1 fa cup in the tenure of Kenwright tells you he is a massive part in our failings. A chairman who would possibly hire Gary Megson if he was available!
If he passes away he's probably bequeathed his shares to Andrew Lloyd Webber or Wayne Sleep

Dwight McNeil looks like he won a crossbar challenge competition and has been allowed to stay on the pitch.

You’ve seen it at your club (it always baffles me how Bradford are in League 2, you bet bigger crowds that some Prem clubs), we’ve seen it at our club… it’s all about the right men in the right jobs behind the scenes. Don’t get those appointments right and your club will underperform.

Everton are crying out for that stadium to be built. It will completely change the club. With that they might start to aim higher and a point the right people.
