I feel for Everton, seems like we are mates now we hate their neighbours these days, can’t see them staying up now unless something radical happens.

Brentford, Fulham, Forest, Leeds, Southampton all look comfortably better than them, and they will likely be the others down towards the bottom.

I can see them going down this year. Not enough up front to keep them up. Last year they were saved by Norwich, Burnley and Watford being a lot worse. This year I think only Forest are weaker.

And yet, Forest have had some good results so far.

Maupay's a decent enough player and I think he'll do well there. Maybe not a 'Hollywood' signing but nonetheless a player who will give 100%.

I think Maupay is a good footballer but at the end of the day he's a striker who doesn't score goals. One of the reasons why Brighton play good stuff but lack cutting edge.

Why don’t you take a punt on Delap with a loan deal. Unproven but highly rated at City. Nothing to lose. He is a clinical striker. City may not agree but you never know.
