Looking at their website it seems like they already own Genoa. This is what they have to say (make sure to grab a sick bag);

Established in 1893, Genoa Cricket and Football club is Italy’s oldest team. 777 had the honor of taking over stewardship in September 2021. We took on this responsibility with our permanent capital horizon in mind, and therefore we intend to develop Genoa over multiple generations.

777 already benefits from operational expertise and sector specialization in media and sports technology, as we rapidly implement our proprietary software tools to improve day-to-day operations. The next phase is to evolve this technology to transform the Genoa fan experience, and to improve on the field results.

Due to the fact that I am a yank, I will ask the silly question; What exactly would you have them say other than that?
Nobody invests $£€ 500 million of anything with the intention of losing money.

I would like them to say honour instead of honor.

Tbf to the op, can you tell us what a permanent capital horizon is?

I think its more to the point where its just copy and paste business speak which is aimed at investors rather than fans, its faceless jargon

No argument there, but keep in mind this is a business investment just the same as a tuna canning facility. Investment isn't made for wealth to decrease.
Sheik Mansour, as much as I thank and appreciate him and his company's investment, didn't redevelop East Manchester for civic benevolence, the object is to grow the initial investment.an endeavor which has been successful, not only due to prudent stewardship, but THANKFULLY helped along by the success of the football club we've been supporters, dare I say, in love with our entire lives

Absolutely its a business investment and i dont disagree with you but i dont think people have quite the same emotional attachment to a tuna canning facility and most fans would like to believe that their owners get that a little bit is all

The sheik’s good fortune was Soriano who had the vision for a branded group years ago but Barca turned him down.

CFG have a similar vision and the funding for a global technology base is in place. May tie in with some of Silver Lake’s companies.
