None of the rules make much sense. How can clubs be millions in debt yet keep spending? Points deductions, huge fines only punish the fans. I've no idea what the answer is but it needs changing.
I recall a club running into financial difficulties. They got fined which put them into more financial difficulties.
Have a faint recollection it was either Luton or Peterborough.

We messed up and got punished for it, most fans don't dispute that. Our issue as I see it is does the punishment fit the crime. It's like being charged with drunken disorderly and getting a 5 year custodial sentence.
They decided on a sporting sanction -10 points for approx £20m the question I would be asking is which player could be signed for £20m that would earn 10points The punishment doesn’t fit the crime
What pisses me off is hearing Everton fans with their what-about City they are guilty……. I find it hard to be sympathetic towards Everton because of it

Too true, that’s money disappearing out of the game to Financial Institutions whereas our spending filtered down the leagues, not just in England but France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal, we don’t buy shite players from the Dutch League, we’ll leave that to the wankers in Trafford.

If Everton was told 2/3 years ago when they were being helped from the premier league regarding ffp, they should of told them then if you don't do this you will be looking at points deduction! Telling them just the start of this season is way out of order!
It’s a disgrace charging them a third into the season, just like the preventing of signing players from clubs with multiple ownership, it has to be ratified pre season, not manipulated after the campaign starts. There’s too much influence as we all know, set of self preserving wankers.

As your fellow toffee Blue Lou pointed out in the judgement te PL tried to justify the points deduction by saying you have richb owners so a fine was unsuitable so seems they thought it needed excusing but is a bit half baked to me because if the owner paid a fine that would break ffp anyway you would think.
So seems possible Evertons punishment is ground preparing for city although the cases are completely different so in that way It could be you have been set up

Like EUFA tried to screw us over with a two year ban until CAS cleared us, you can't trust the premier league one inch. They make the rules up as they go along. In all these judgements by the so called good and wise nobody ever explains why the fans should be punished. The only open and honest party in all these cases is the fans. Forget other clubs that are affected suing, the fans have the biggest case of the lot!

As for ourselves, I've said it in another post, Everton are the warm up act for our case. With no disrespect to Everton they couldn't give a fuck about them. They are no threat to the cartel. We are as we've proven. Everton are the test case to see how far they can push it. They've also got the reaction they wanted. Almost all the news and noise since the deduction happened has been, "What about City??" If anything it's drummed up even more hatred against ourselves which is exactly what they wanted. The redshirt cartel aren't stupid they know exactly what they're doing. They want us gone, finished, punished and sanctioned so harshly that we never recover as a football club and a threat on and off the field. They don't care who gets hurt in the crossfire as Everton are finding out.

I'm sure our owners are now aware this is a fight to the death unless the premier league bottle it and call a ceasefire. I'm positive we have enough dirt to make it as uncomfortable as possible for the wankers, even as far as taking the whole competition down if we have to. For a start we have all the signed letters from other clubs trying to influence EUFA to ban us and the ones to the premier league too. I'm pretty sure a few refs could be called to give evidence after being asked to look at certain decisions differently. Mark Halsey alluded to this but it was swiftly swept under the carpet. I bet it's the tip of the iceberg. The fallout from all this could have very serious implications, not only sporting but political. Good! Let's expose the whole stinking cesspit for what it is.

Heres a novel idea scrap ffp and like anyway else in the free world allow owners to investor or take out as much as they want in the company they own.

I also thought in the free world cartels were not allowed.

It stinks that Everton get done when building a new stadium. Yet rags are a billion in debt, a stadium falling down, the leagues biggest wage big, fail UEFA FFP. Yet the pl arent even looking into the rags. The same rags that vetted the pl CEO, it fucking stinks and the press/media are in on this apart from Samuel

Have you ever thought of persuing a career in diplomacy.

Like I said, I used to like Everton and their fans but after last week and all the what about Man City 115 charges
and demanding we get punished and relegated, What has your FFP ruling and cheating got to do with us ?

Cry when you're relegated because you should already be in the championship

Pretty sure he's a city fan

I didn't say he wasn't

I know they have some fans on here and the Cry When your relegated was aimed at them
I'm not gonna cry when we're relegated - I'd be made up to play in the championship, different grounds and experiences. They don't want us and I hate the hypocrisy of it all.

they hate us but fuck being relegated ...its fucking shit boss
I get what your saying but we can't have all this anti PL corruption talk and then celebrate not getting relegated. For me I'd sooner be out of it and to hell with them. I think as a club we'd come back stronger and our core fanbase would remain the same.
