everton v city match reaction thread PART 2.

I haven't seen anybody else's reactions because I keep hitting the "General" when I try to log on.

I think it is in the FA Rules somewhere that we must lose to Everton. I thought for most of the Game we played well and we really blew two great chances to finish them off.

Like always though a good/decent side like Everton will dominate at some time in the Game and as they pushed us back Milner and Yaya and especially the Boy Wonder seemed to go missing in action.

With the benefit of Replays in the Pub - my view is that Rodwells was only a Booking but Neville should have been shown a Red. The best bit of the day for me though despite the score was how assured and relaxed we looked first half and anybody who says Stoke are like Everton is missing a major point. Everton do it with players who have won 60 odd caps for England, players who played in the World Cup Final and Players linked with big money moves to Scum and Bayern.

It's still looking really good for the biggest week in our supporting lives.

Lucky, lucky you.

Silva and Yaya been told to stay deeper to help defend in the 2nd helf? More often I saw Silva at left back than Kolarov in the 2nd half.

all is forgiven, just sort the mood swings out if we get involved in a stoke war type game saturday, even vinny lost his head,we cant do that next week

Own fault for missing numerous good chances to score more goals, especially in the first half, however Dowd had an absolute shocker (up there with many of Steve Bennett's perfomances). Osman should have been off as he should have recieved a yellow for the tackle from behind on Zab, and Rodwell should have been off..ok yellow for tackle however if Vincent recieves yellow for his reaction Rodwell should get a further yellow for his.
Far too many poor decisions from all the officials today e.g. linesman (yes still linesman for me as they actually make no decisions themselves) gave free kick other way when Neville did a two-footed stamp in to a tackle and he was only 5 yards away.

am i the only who thinks we played very well

ok we lost but we have a couple of more gears if we wanted
we just sat back with our manager happy to take a point but when they score the 2nd we just let them have it

we had the 7 points in the bag and i got the feeling we would not push them
if need be banking on the 2 home game we have

still blackpool thank you very much
hope you stay up

I thought that we should have taken Viera off at half time.

this is so obvious how come bobby cannot see it.
