Everton v City post match

Remember pre take over ? Our position is brilliant. Stop sounding like a bunch of divine wining rags!

Why is this even a subject of potential conversation?

Why would anyone bring that up -it's simply not relevant - it really is not a topic that any Blue should compare. Yes,we were shit and this is paradise in comparison.....

I'm 43 and suffered all that shit like others, the guff, the poor buys, the shit board, the selling of decent players for poor money and spending more on inferior ones. Who gives a shit -that's in the past

The new City still has problems which needs addressing, and folk are rightfully concerned.

We fucking piss and moan when Liverpool fans mention their "history" - fuck all that and embrace the future and stop with what went before.

Everything that is occurring has no bearing on the past. fucking let it go. I have no wish to reconcile about City pre 2008, it's futile, who give a fuck about it. I'ts done with.

I had some bloody good times at Maine Road in those dark time though :) sorry about the rant.

Have we all seen the film GOAL, when he signs for Newcastle the manager has him chasing a pass to teach him to pass rather than run with the ball. Remember It? Well i'm fed up of watching our defenders run 20-25 yrds to then turn round and pass back 15 yrds, wtf. City seem to have lost the ability to actually play football. Just watch the amount of times a defender runs to the halfway line with the ball to then stop and pass back. Depressing stuff.
I don't remember the film but what you're talking about does my head in. It's pointless.

When Pep was appointed many people said he would struggle in this league, they were absolutely right to do so. It would appear that he is really struggling to work out what style, formation suits the players he has available to him. We have one of the oldest squads in the premier league and he is struggling to impose his brand of football on them. I really think he has been shocked by the intensity of the premier league, and to be honest I can see this season being written off by the club in the belief that next season he will get it right.

Our forward line isn't the oldest though is it.

Struggling what to say to be honest. 2 visits to scouseland and 2 abject performances at much cost to the travelling fans. Poor. Last season Pellegriniesque that was.

Yep me and my mates have always had a "we're stopping up party". It used to take us to the last few games to limp over the 40 point mark. Now we get to that point by Christmas.

Today was a really bad day at the office of that there is no doubt. But many on here including myself always felt that this was going to be a season of transition.
We've been 4-0 behind twice to two utterly mediocre teams in the last 6 weeks. That's not transition. That's worryingly shambolic and it won't be long before it happens again.
