Everton v City post match

I remember a past where we were a fortress at home and beating teams like Spurs 5-1 at their place, now we are shitting ourselves thinking about the next game. We have regressed immensely and it all started with Tixi appointment.

It show's how dire our goalkeeping situation is , when a majority of us want Willy back as No1, he is very, very average at best.

It was a poor performance second half. However I thought we did okay in the first, Should of had a pen and made more of the opportunities we had.

What is worrying is the way we stopped playing at 2-0 down and the fact our defence is non existent.

Obviously there is a lot of negativity about after this result. But we need to remember that a week ago we put in our best performance of the season and stuffed the hammers 5 nowt. We show glimpses of what could be. Let yet another soft goal in and then go to pieces.

I know kun wasn't on form yeterday, but the same could be said for the whole team. He showed against west ham why he is still the top striker in the prem. The critisicm he gets is way over the top.

To be honest, I expected us to be playing much better with the money spent and the squad we have. However, I have seen just enough in recent performances to give me hope that we will eventually come good!

In any case, Guardiola will not be sacked, so we need to try and keep faith with him. Even if we finish outside the top 4. I think the club will stick with him.

We totally dominated the first half, but even so, we never created many scoring chances, we are so predictable, never takes risks and no one puts his foot through the ball from distance, we try and score the perfect goal every game....walking the ball into the goal....does my head in....pussy football

I thought we dominated the first half too. We didnt take our chances and that is what we need to do if we are going to do anything. Can have the best back four in the land but if our strikers dont take their chances we get nothing.

After the fist half I just dont know what went wrong, 6 shots and four goals ffs, there is something wrong that goes deeper than just personel

So all we need to do is bring back Mancini Hart Barry de Jong and play the kids and we will stuff spurs 5-1 next week

Yes, everyone seems to have forgotten the entirity of his last season.
And I am a big mancini fan. But face it, we have an issue with the squad, especially with our two best central midfielders and best defender missing.

We're so liike Arsenal in that way. I am afraid a little we are going to plod on with this not realising Arsenal have been trying this approach for years.

We need to just have some more urgency around their box and get the bloody ball in, it creates it's own luck and makes them worry not us. We go plodding the ball around and the opposition defence just have to sit back and wait.
