Tbh, I think he's looked off the ball since January 2012. He's shown signs of magic here & there, but his head has been turned for over a year now

He'll join Real in the summer, IMO.

A lot of the money we've spent has been on players that were brought in to push us up from being an average mid table team. A lot of money we've spent has been on players that were second choice because the top players we wanted to sign didn't want to sign for City. Plus when teams see it's Sheikh Mansour trying to sign a player, his fee goes up considerably. We've got value for money on a few players but overall we've been ripped off for the players in our squad.

I cringe when I see fans going on about us having a great squad/best squad in the league/one of the best squads in Europe. Kolarov Kolo Barry García Milner Džeko Sinclair Razak all in our squad today and I find them (even if Kolo is playing better than he has been for a number of years; Milner is one of my favourite players; and Džeko does score goals) to be well short of the level when I see teams like München Barça Dortmund Madrid - which is who some of our fans think we're as good as (we're really not!).

Without four of our six best players today (Kompany Richards Yaya and Kun) we are well short when it comes to being a top side.

Since the takeover we've put bids in for, or shown great interest in, the following players who didn't want owt to do with us:
Kaka Terry Eto'o Sanchez Hazard DiRossi vanPersie ThiagoSilva...there's probably more. But the evolution of our squad as a top club is very very short. We've been a top club for less than two years.

For me, with the squad we've got, we're doing about as well as I'd expect.

Good post. Our squad is probably the weakest out of the current top 4. First eleven wise I dont see much between us and United but the squad is extremely thin, especially in midfield. Last summer was a disaster in terms of getting weaker.

When RVP has his usual injury, you know the one everyone on here said he'd spend half the season on the medical table with whilst also telling us he was too old to spend that amount on ;-)

Sad thing is, before the game we knew that Everton would be up for it, and no surprise they were. We were not in the game and why we are always slow to start i dont know.
Team and squad needs an overhaul in the summer.
We cant finish, our set pieces are woefull and just have zero pace in the team.

Sad thing is most of us knew that Coleman is quick and likes to attack down the right side. Clichy would've been one of the first names on the teamsheet. It's almost like he was planning his own exit.

I've thought that all season, like he is piqued about something. He's either deliberately choosing losing tactics or he is incapable of learning at best, incompetent at worst. I'd love to know what's really going on behind the scenes at the club.

But on the field, I think that Yaya is the motor, and no Yaya playing or firing, then a lacklustre performance from the team.

I don't think it was a lacklustre performance teams have susted us out and Mancini can't change it ? We have no plan B . And if he thinks dzeko is a footballer u can see why we don't have a plan B if teams get into us we fold ???

We just didn't have the stomach for the fight today. Dzeko, Kolarov and Silva were very poor today. People can talk about the formation, maybe it wasn't the most ideal, but the players have to take the blame for this. Everton wanted it more, they had a point to prove after last week, and we didn't match them in desire and workrate. We were outfought, but should have come away with something during that spell of pressure after the red card.

Lets hope Yaya, Aguero, Richards, and Kompany are back soon, and then finish the season on a high with the FA Cup. The media will probably talk about this setback today as a crisis. Complete rubbish.
