Every City Goal By Edin Dzeko (Video)

I think we tend to forget how many important goals Dzeko scored for us. His prowess in the air was unrivalled, as well — some truly masterful headed and volleyed goals.

And another takeaway from watching them is how well he linked up with Aguero and Tevez, who both were very creative in their own right.

The sixth against United in the Sick Swan will forever be etched in to my mind, along with what I consider to be the best ever assist in PL history by El Mago.

His goal against QPR was pivotal, too, but often lost in recollection for obvious reasons.

Unsung hero for us in my opinion.

We do, indeed. I saw that video last night and thought, Jeez, those are some goals, and at one point he was banging 'em in that made me think that they were the forerunner of some of Haaland's goals this season! He was some player, and scored some sensational goals, particularly with his head.

I barely can watch this, still angry after all these years that prick got rid of a player in his prime, who didn't want to leave and who was playing a big part in getting us to two titles. And to rub salt into the wound we expected likes of Negredo, Jovetic and fucking Bony to replace him.

I would say the half dozen goals in his last season had more to do with him leaving than anything else.

City keeping up with their policy to remove any mention of Adam Johnson's name from official club commentary. Young City fans of the future are going to watch these videos and have no idea who he is, lol. Wouldn't be surprised if, 10 years from now, a young City fan born circa 2018 comes on here asking "Who's the left-footed midfielder from the 2011/12 season?" and has a horrible awakening.

Awesome video.

The image of Dzeko running onto that sublime Silva pass, smashing it past De Gea, and then double checking how many goals we'd scored before holding up six fingers to the crowd is forever burned into my brain as one of my happiest memories.

Loved the big Bosnian Diamond and so happy that things worked out so well for him in Italy. He did have a funny first touch at times but scored some absolute crackers and very important goals. A huge part of the City story.
