Everything Star Wars

I'm going to have to watch the animated series including "Bad Batch" now although you can still grasp the basic background of these characters.

Not to go off topic but is anything going to come off the back of Solo? Many weren't a fan of the film (I liked it) but we can all agree that the ending with Darth Maul was interesting, wonder if he will make an appearance in the new Kenobi series..
I much preferred Solo and Rogue One to the three final Star Wars films.

I wouldn’t mind seeing some of the series stuff in either of those.

But don’t forget, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are coming back for sole Obi Wan series next year and we’ll see Darth Vader develop.

Rogue one was excellent and Solo was a decent fare and is well liked amongst many star wars fans hence why the solo2 hash tag appears periodicaly on social media.

Solo suffered from being released not long after the debarcle that was the last jedi and the backlash of how terrible that film was.

If Solo had been released in december with a full 12 months between the films it may well have faired better at the box office.

It was odd it suffered as it had a number of Wookiees and they realised that people really want to see Wookiees, hence shoe horning one into Boba Fett. Plus they save a fortune on the CGI and having to retain actors with them.

I'm finally up to date with The Book of Boba Fett. Curious with the last two episodes. As others have pointed out, there wasn't much of Boba Fett and the series seemed better for it.

At times during this series and The Mandolorian, I find that the story or dialogue isn't that engaging. OK, you might say, it's Star Wars, it doesn't have to be. But having these multi-episode TV series gives the makers the chance to go a bit deeper with their characters and they could improve the dialogue a bit.

Having said that, it is a joy to watch from a technical perspective. They really do create that "lived-in/worn-out" look so well. It's fantastic to just watch the landscapes unfold with the action and the merging of CGI with the background is pretty much flawless. These Tatooine buildings look fantastic - just like the job that Disney have done on the buildings and sets at Galaxy's Edge, which is brilliant just to walk around and gawp at the scenery.

Without giving too much away, what they pulled off with the main returning character in episode 6 was superb.
