Scandalous that case. Apparently the lad is from a very privileged background and has parents in the legal profession. Bet if he’d been black or from a council estate he’d have made the front page of the sun named with photos but as he’s from Hale. How he got away with that is unreal.
 
Saunders is alright. Comes across as half sensible on Talk Sport and his kid plays for Curzon Ashton. Always has nice things to say about City. Just a bit unlucky by the sounds of it.

Wrong thread but Makki (the deceased) wasn't from Hale and he wasn't white. Further, it was very good coverage from a biased media that made him out to be an innocent. The trial showed otherwise. It was very sad what happened but he was not as innocent as the police made out.

You do listen to him on TS? As for unlucky - he was pissed up behind the wheel. Thats not bad luck !! All of us who choose to drive and to not have a drink - is that just us being lucky????

The victim also carried a knife and was a wannabe gangster. They were young teenagers acting out their fantasies. However to virtually ignore the violence involved is scandalous, anyone carrying a weapon should be prosecuted. If it’s a knife for work there should be a tool box to carry it in, not a coat or a pocket. As you say any less privileged members of Society would be in jug by now.
