Judge has said because the **** was under 21 at the time of the bombing he cannot give him a whole life term.
According to today’s Telegraph...
“Despite being responsible for the murders of 22 innocent people, Hashem Abedi is protected by parliamentary legislation from a whole-life order because of his age.
Abedi was an adult at the time of the attack in May 2017 but crucially was under the age of 21. The Criminal Justice Act 2003 sets out in law sentencing rules for judges in murder cases, making a distinction between offenders aged 18 to 20 and those over 21.
The law considers anybody over 18 and under 21 to be a youth in the most serious of cases. Abedi will still receive a very lengthy jail term when he is convicted today, but with a minimum term, after which he would be eligible to apply for parole.“
This wanker gave up any rights he had. Should have been dragged kicking and screaming into the Dock to receive his sentence. Why do we pander to pricks like him. At least he'll think twice about picking his soap up in the showerI dont understand ,he has been found guilty, put him in handcuffs, one officer under each arm and lift him off the floor and into the court, there should not be any i am not going option, scumbag
The problem is that because of this he'll probably be out of the general prison population and the most protected person in the country. I'm assuming within the near future the do-gooders will be after making sure he gets plenty of rights and an early release. On a more positive note the sentence given is about as close to throwing away the key as you can get after the ECHR did their best to quash indefinite scentences and get that rapey cab driver out.Hope everyday somebody kicks fuck out of him, the horrible little ****.
I cried for a full week after it happened, it really really shocked me and with having kids of my own and having been to the MEN countless times it made it more of a personal thing, I couldnt believe it had happened on my own doorstep and to a city I call my own.

I'm not on about 'life' scentences, but indefinite /indeterminate scentences which is what imho this creature should be serving. Thanks for posting though.Anyone wanting an objective view better than this brexshiteers bollocks can read this.
