Extreme day trips

I reckon we will have 6 hours in brussells

In that timespan I would visit the atomiam at hysel ,and the grand place in the centre of Brussels ,Bruges and Gent aren't doable to enjoy in a day .

I did the Mochengladbach game a few years ago just for the one night. I found that exhausting enough. No thanks!!

Regularly used to fly to Arlanda, Stockholm, same with Berlin and back in the day for a meeting. Not great for the carbon footprint and probably couldn't get the flights these days. Early 2000s fares were cheap and flights were plentiful.

Couple of years ago I went to Benidorm for 1 night and met some mates who were there for the week

Got a last minute dirt cheap flight and met them for their last night piss up

Got my head down on a sofa in one of their hotel rooms so probably spent less than I would on a good night out in town

Memories will fade but Herpes will stay with you forever

Me, mrs, 2 kids have just booked a day out in Brussells in oct, fly out at 7.30am, fly back at 9.30pm. £93 total!

Got our eye on Cork too.

Something different and time will tell if its worth it or a knackering ball ache

We all seem to make the assumption that the mode of transport will set off at the scheduled time! Most times it works but when it doesn't . . . . . . Kinell!

Antwerp is further than Ghent and Bruges and Leuven I wouldn't bother with .
