Given the urgency of the need to replace Tevez now that he has thrown his toys from the pram and the fact that Alexis Sanchez looks set to be announced by Barcelona in the near future, Roberto will undoubtedly be focusing his attention on two or three players.

One of them might well be Argentinian Lavezzi.

Speculation has it that he is destined to arrive at Eastlands.

Inter deserved Serie B too
Aguero: Juve OK, but Atletico aim high
Toro, seven signings quickly done
Inter: Palacio also arrives
Lavezzi: Destination City **
Pastore: Malaga insist
Roma: Four years for De Rossi
D’Agostino: Catania
Gilardino: More money or ciao

** From Tuttosport (who first mentioned Savic to us)

Here is the wiki material.......

Tevez has made life a lot more difficult for Cook, Mancini, Marwood.

Lavezzi has just 37 goals in 146 games for Napoli. Tevez went on a run where he got that many goals in about 40-45 games.

I would cry if Mancini thinks Lavezzi can replace Tevez.

^ Agreed

Playing for argentina the other night he was useless, they took him off for aguero who completely changed the game and scored the winner.

That's a bit harsh tbh although he is quite overrated by some. Seen plenty of him, he's a very good player, but nowhere near the same class as Tevez.

I think he'd do a decent job for us but would we should be aiming higher imo.

Never in a million years good enough for the prem or champions league.
