As for the German argument, as it's been said nobody in this country is truly a descendant of its original origins, but I will post a quote from the late Queen Mother regarding the Germans; "Never trust them, Never trust them".

Since the 1965 Race Relations Act and it's successor the Race Relations Act of 1976, any discrimination, hatred or prejudice on grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnic and national origin are simplified under the term racist.

War was never declared .it was a "conflict" if the Belgrano had not been sunk as it was heading away from the Falklands the situation might have been solved diplomaticly .but that was the last thing Thatcher wanted .so the Argentines sunk the HMS Sheffield which at the time was so far away it posed no threat to anyone just like the Belgrano didnt pose a threat

In various contexts, the terms "xenophobia" and "racism" seem to be used interchangeably, though they can have wholly different meanings (xenophobia can be based on various aspects, racism being based solely on race, ethnicity, and ancestry). Xenophobia can also be directed simply to anyone outside a culture, not necessarily one particular race or people.
