Why is that, is it for security reasons in case somebody gets on track?
It's the F1 CCTV for racing incidents apparently.

They are static cameras for incidents.

As others in the coverage are saying. The F1 TV cameras are working. Marshalls can report incidents, so what's the problem?

Bit of a farce, but as we’ve seen for a while now, they do whatever they want and have multiple ways of interpreting the rules.

I have a few spare weekend grandstand tickets for the "sold out" British GP (7-9 July). Face value, of course: £589 each (or £489 Sunday Only).

Soon....

Great session that. Lots of fast strategy required to fight the rain. Sadly they are expecting a dry race tomorrow so I can only see one outcome.
Vettel is doing some bits for Red Bull now too. He's driving his 2011 winning car round Nurburgring for some publicity thing.

I said when he retired he'd be back sooner or later.

Imagine a Red Bull lineup of Max Verstappen and Seb Vettel. Highly unlikely (whereas IMO Danny Ricciardo getting that second seat next season if not before is as closed to nailed on as can be) but what a fun ride that'd be....fireworks everywhere.
