F1 2025 Season

Hamilton not pulling up any trees yet since moving to Ferrari. I see he's asked to be judged after a couple of years at Ferrari, not after a few months. Which is fair enough. I just wonder if the bigwigs there will be that patient.

They will be. Doubt he will. Their strategy team have been getting lots of sass from him.

I think the rollover hoop would've been enough in that crash.

Remember we went over 20 years without a fatality in F1 without the halo.

Fast. But I wouldn't say the halo did anything in that scenario that the rollover hoop would've prevented before.

I think the halo is more to stop frontal collisions where something gets scooped by the nose cone (Schumacher Abu Dhabi 2012) , cars flying across cockpits (like Grosjean on Alonso at Spa 2012) or debris (Massa Hungary 2009).

In rollovers like this one the clue is in the name the rollover hoop is there as the first line of defense.
 
Sky need to f*ck Jacques Villeneuve off, he's a sassy prick.
 
Great start from Verstappen, very skillfully. Mclaren will need to get him on the undercut.
