F1 2026

He clearly thinks the new regs are a load of bollocks and his car is a heap of shit. Wouldn’t shock me one bit if he just does a Raikonnen and fucks off and races other cars at the end of the season.

I’m a bit surprised actually. Along with Hamilton he’s the only other proper old school pure ‘last of the late brakers’ balls out racer on the grid. Lewis loves the new cars, would’ve though that even if he wasn’t fighting at the front, Max might actually find it fun racing them as they’re very oversteery and the aero designs promote much closer racing. Should be right up his street but I guess not.
I'd like to be a fly in the wall in the Ferrari garage. I think Hamilton and Leclerc are enjoying their duels and showing great respect for each other.

Two elite racers going at it cleanly and know where the edge is and how far they can push it.

Reminds me a bit of when Lewis and Button were teammates, or Norris and Oscar last season. Pure respect from two gentlemen and none of the toxic shite that dominated the Rosberg partnership.

I reckon the cars would be, it’s just all the electric shite that isn’t. The boost / overtake modes are a load of nonsense to my mind.

Just get the cars all running on bio fuel and back to v10s at the next reg changes.

Totally agree mate. I posted earlier today that there’s clearly loads of fun in the aero side of these regs. If I were in charge I’d sack off all the battery shit and keep the rest, would make for great racing and even if they were several seconds a lap slower it wouldn’t matter at all.

Today’s F1 are a grown up version of Mario cart game Bring back the V10s and return to racing not who can managing battery life the best the Duracell bunny can do that,ok there has been a lot of overtaking but only for a few seconds until the car runs out of battery and is overtaken again,no skill in that

I think most people would but Mercedes will never agree. They have successfully built by some distance the best PU and want to keep their advantage.

And the new compression ratio tests will make no difference.

Quite enjoying what we’re seeing and drivers will always complain when they aren’t getting their own way.

Watched the evolution of F1 for probably 50 years, and this year is no different. It’s always about the technology, engine and body, and having the driver that is one of the best. That’s what makes it.

It’s called ‘management’, and all teams have the same issue to solve.

In an era when fossil fuels are creating conflict, why would we not accept alternative ways for creating energy, surely it’s the way forward?

Because of the cost of biofuels. It's currently 4x more expensive, but that is the plan to have 100% sustainable fuels and a possible reintrodution of v10's by 2030.

What will having no races in April do on car development? There’s going to be teams at the back of grid allowed more wind tunnel time compared to the ones at the front. And will it prolong Aston Martin’s misery of not being able to get on top of their horrific vibrations issue as they can’t get real world data out on the track.

Let’s see if you’re still enjoying after a few more races when the finishing order is the same as now.

Max Verstappen dominates at Nurburgring with crushing GT3 win

Max is a pure racer through and through. It's only understandable he complains about the farce that is current F1.
He probably won't win at all in F1 this year, but will win everything he races in other series

Got disqualified though.
