Well, well, well, Vettel won again and thus ended the most miserable season in a while, hopefully these rule changes fuck Red Bull up enough to mean we have a competitive season next year, hopefully Newey gets bored and goes to be a monk or something...

Congratulations to Rosler1985 for winning the 3rd season of the F1 Competition, and commiserations to tilbz who finally can be credited with the wooden spoon for finishing bottom, after being bottom virtually all year. Nevermind...
Onto the F1 Cup, it's underdog v underdog, 2 league underachievers who turn it on when it comes to cup weekend. 2 giant killers going head to head in the final to join The cookie monster in the F1 Cup Hall of Fame. Who came out on top?
BM F1 Cup 2013
Final
bluestew666 58-70 mcfcfaz.
So congratulations to mcfcfaz, who despite finishing 6th from bottom in the league has amazingly gone on to lift the F1 Cup. Proves that anyone can win the toughest cup on BM.
Now for a bit of fun, let's see how the drivers table ended up using the competition's points system as opposed to the official one, this just includes the drivers picked for the competition:

So anyway, this thread has been a lot less active this year, maybe down to the lack of interesting action itself and probably down to my summer relapse in providing updates. I may rekindle this for next season, it should be interesting with all the rule changes and some interesting driver combinations, hopefully Hulkenberg gets a good drive and the midfield can improve on their dismal showing this year and provide more competitive cars. It's a shame Maldonado's money will likely give him the Lotus drive when his lack of talent clearly doesn't deserve it, but oh well, hopefully it'll still be a good season, if enough of you are interested I'll wake you all up in the spring with a new season.
Cheers folks!
